English Bay Beach

Kitsilano Beach

Kitsilano Beach volley ball, the nets are up! Let the games begin.
Kitsilano Beach looking south from the point.
The salt water pool opens in late May and closes in Mid-September. This view is looking North-West, the point in the distance is Lighthouse Park. Horseshoe Bay, the departure point for ferries sailing to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island is beyond the point.

Jericho Beach

Jericho Beach is about a 10 minute drive West of Kitsilano Beach. From this point the beaches are all joined together by foot/bicycle paths.
Jericho Beach features a very large greenspace. It is also the location of the annual Folk Festival.
Wide open spaces abound.
Ponds add to the outdoor feeling of this area.

Locarno Beach

Locarno Beach is located just West of Jericho Beach (you can walk from one to the other.)

Spanish Banks Beach

Spanish Banks  
This Beach features a very flat slope, when the tide is out expect a long walk to the waters edge.

Wreck Beach

Vancouver' clothing optional Beach.

Naturally, many people frown when cameras appear. These pictures were taken about 10 am when no-one was around.
The trail from the road is long and steep in spots. Going down is easy, remember, you have to go back up!
