North-west of the Vancouver area is the Sunshine Coast. Accessible by
ferry from Horseshoe Bay, the Sunshine Coast is a popular area famous for
beautiful coastal scenery. The "Circle Route" takes the traveller from Gibsons
north through many small communities including Sechelt. Board a ferry at Earls
Cove for the second leg leading to Saltery Bay and the drive to Powell River.
The third leg is a ferry ride from Powell River to Comox on Vancouver Island.
The return ferry departs from the Nanaimo area, crossing to Horseshoe Bay or
Tsawwassen.
