In and around Vancouver - Granville Island & False Creek

Snap shots of life around Vancouver, most were taken the end of April, 2000.

Looking south towards Granville Island.
The small shuttle ferries crisscross the False Creek area and are a great way to skip from downtown to just about anywhere on the south side.
Cambie Bridge on the right, with BC Place Stadium beyond.
The east end of Granville Island.
Again, False Creek, looking west. The buildings on the right are part of the up-and-coming Yaletown area, where the young and the computer friendly are starting to gather.
False Creek looking west from the Cambie bridge area.
Looking north across False Creek from Granville Island. The building in the centre is the Plaza of Nations, a leftover from Expo '86 and a popular gathering place for various public functions.
Looking west along False Creek.
Granville Island is on the left, Granville Bridge in the foreground, with Burrard Bridge behind.
